General

The general settings controls the setup of sites for message hub.

Navigate to Sites → General

Setup

Follow these steps to complete the setup:

  1. Enter the ZCF URL

  2. Click Generate New Auth PIN

  3. Edit Expiry Date as required

  4. Click Save

Zonal Connect Framework (ZCF) must be installed on each site that requires Message Hub

Field Settings & Information

Site Information

Site details imported from Aztec.

The following table of information describes each of the site information fields:
Field Description
Name The name given to the site, imported from Aztec
Group Name An optional group name to sort sites, when sites are imported from Aztec they will be shown with the Company Name / Area Name
Estate Read only field displaying name of the Estate configured by Zonal on initial setup

Setup & Discovery

Configuration to define the link between the message hub configuration and site.

The following table of information describes each of the setup and discovery fields:
Field Description
Site ID

Unique identifier for the site, typically matching the Site ID in Aztec database
Site Ref

Input to define the site reference, matching the reference configured in Aztec Base Data
ZCF URL

Input to define the URL of Zonal Connect Framework which Message Hub uses to connect to Aztec to enable login to a Kitchen Screen by PIN number for assignment of pagers (which would be the IP address of the Aztec PC followed by the ZCF port number)

  • Format: http://<IP address>:Port Number

  • Example: http://192.168.1.51:50001
Discovery Parameters

Button to generate new Auth PIN - PINs are assigned on the Message Hub Server during installation so that they link to the correct site and pickup the configuration
Auth PIN PIN number generated
Auth Discovery Expiry date of the PIN number
